What are you actually trying to understand?
Choose the situation closest to yours. There is no universal “best” tracker.
Seven questions your tracker should help you answer
A large score is easy to present. A clear decision is harder—and more useful.
- Question 1Are we only mentioned, or are we actually recommended as a credible choice?
- Question 2Which competitor is recommended more often?
- Question 3What does the answer suggest that competitor is better at?
- Question 4Which buyers, use cases or comparison questions are we losing?
- Question 5What is the most useful change our team can make next?
- Question 6Can we inspect the original answers behind that recommendation?
- Question 7After we make the change, did the same buying conversations improve?
Built to turn an AI-search gap into a published fix — and proof it worked
Prescy is designed for a B2B marketing lead who needs to walk into a monthly meeting and answer four things: what changed, why the business is still losing, what the team should do now and whether the last action worked.
That is why the result is a recommendation outcome—such as “recommended in 4 of 600 tested conversations”—rather than an unexplained score. Mention counts, source evidence, competitor appearances and the original answers remain available as supporting detail.
Apex CRM was recommended about twice as often.
The answers describe Apex as a clearer fit for growing agencies.
Clarify agency-specific workflows and publish a direct comparison page.

From your website to a decision your team can use
Enter your website
Prescy identifies what you sell, the likely buyer and relevant competitors. You can correct that understanding before continuing.
Test a representative buying conversation
The free report runs a focused ChatGPT diagnostic without asking you to write prompts first.
See the commercial outcome
The report leads with how often your business was recommended, the strongest competitor, a likely reason for the gap and one next action.
Check the evidence
The original answer and supporting detail remain available so your team can judge the finding rather than trust a black-box score.
Monitor the questions that matter
Monitor repeats a ChatGPT and Perplexity benchmark each week so you can see whether the same buyer questions moved.
Act, then measure
You can mark an action as implemented and use later scans to see whether the same buying conversations changed.
Prescy will not be right for every team
You mainly need low-cost daily tracking
OtterlyAI starts lower and offers daily tracking. Its core plans track four engines; Gemini, Google AI Mode and Claude are paid add-ons, so check the current limits against the markets you need.
Your SEO team wants deeper analytics
Peec AI offers daily tracking with a choice of models and is aimed at SEO and content teams that want a more analytical workspace.
You need enterprise infrastructure
Profound is better aligned with larger organizations that need broad workflows, integrations and enterprise buying support.
You already run search in Semrush
Semrush combines AI visibility with its wider search ecosystem. That can reduce tool switching for an established Semrush team.
Vendor packaging changes frequently. Details reviewed 24 August 2026; check each vendor's current product and pricing pages before buying.
One honest limit worth naming here: a diagnosis on this page is a test, not proof of cause — Prescy observed a visibility loss, not that fixing it will produce a mention. See the full methodology and its limits →
Choosing with confidence
Which AI visibility tracker is best for a B2B marketing team?
It depends on the job your team needs to do. Prescy is designed for B2B SaaS marketing teams that want to understand why a competitor is being chosen, decide what to improve and measure the same buyer questions again. OtterlyAI is a lower-cost monitoring option, Peec AI suits teams seeking detailed analytics, Profound is aimed at larger programs, and Semrush can make sense for teams that want AI visibility inside an established SEO workflow.
What makes Prescy different from a standard AI mention tracker?
Prescy separates being mentioned from being considered and being recommended. It then connects a lost buying conversation to supporting evidence, a prioritized action and a later recheck. The aim is to help a marketing team decide what to do, not simply add another visibility chart.
Which AI engines does Prescy check?
The free AI Search Report uses ChatGPT for a focused first result. Paid Monitor repeats ChatGPT (up to ×5) and Perplexity (×5) on the same buyer questions each week. Prescy does not measure Google AI Overviews — there is no reliable, terms-safe way to query that surface; use Search Console for Overview impressions.
Does Prescy prove why an AI engine did not recommend my business?
No. AI answers do not expose a complete causal explanation. Prescy analyzes the answer, the comparison language and available source evidence to suggest a plausible reason and an action to test. Your team should review the original answers and judge whether the recommendation fits what you know about your buyers.
Do I need ongoing AI visibility monitoring straight away?
Not necessarily. Start with the free report. If the result does not reveal a useful gap or your team is not ready to act, you may not need a paid tracker yet. Ongoing monitoring becomes useful when you have important buyer conversations to protect and changes you want to measure over time.
How does Prescy handle normal variation in AI answers?
Prescy shows the number of tested conversations and uses counts for small samples. For the paid benchmark it pools repeated ChatGPT and Perplexity observations and describes percentages as approximate when the sample is large enough. The original answers remain available because model outputs can vary.
